On April 1, 2024, the leading specialist of the Institute of History, Ethnology and Archeology of the Carpathians, Bohdan Paska, held a seminar for students of the 1st year of “Secondary Education (History)” specializations of the Master’s College of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University and Yuriy Fedkovich Chernivtsi National University. The class was held as part of the implementation of the internal academic mobility program in accordance with the order of the Dean of the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations Ihor Hurak No. 24 dated March 22, 2024.
The assistant professor of the Department of History of Ukraine of Yuriy Fedkovich Chernivtsi National University, the guarantor of the “Secondary Education (History)” educational program of this institution of higher education, Anna Skoreyko, who wished all the participants fruitful and effective work. The seminar session, which concerned the peculiarities of using historical maps and historical sources during the educational process in a specialized school, took place in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Students of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University made visual presentations devoted to the methodology of working with historical maps, the peculiarities of working with wall and contour maps, the peculiarities of using written documents in lessons, working with material sources in history lessons. Instead, students of Yuriy Fedkovich Chernivtsi National University made valuable additions, which were mainly related to the features of inclusive education during the educational process in schools.
At the end, Hanna Skoreyko and Bohdan Paska expressed hope for continued close cooperation between the educational programs of the two universities, strengthening the exchange of experience between students and teachers.
