On October 11, 2024, a leading specialist of the Institute of History, Ethnology and Archaeology of the Carpathians, Bohdan Paska, attended a creative evening of a young scientist, writer, and employee of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Universal Scientific Library, Hanna Paska. The event was held in the premises of the Shukhevych Family Museum-Estate in the village of Tyshkivtsi, Kolomyia district. The host of the evening was the head of the museum, Maria Pidlesniuk, and among the participants were the bard-musician Yevhen Roterman, the amateur folk group “Rovesnytsi”, residents of the village of Tyshkivtsi, as well as senior students of the Tyshkivtsi Lyceum of the Horodenka City Council and the Chernelytsia Lyceum of the Chernelytsia Settlement Council (both in the Kolomyia district).
During his speech, Bohdan Paska told the students about the possibilities of continuing their studies at the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, reported on the features and specifics of the educational program “Secondary Education (History and Civic Education)”. Secondary education students received valuable information about employment prospects after completing their studies in the specialties of the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations. The teacher invited students from Kolomyia district to enroll in the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. Contacts were also provided with history teachers of the relevant lyceums and the prerequisites for expanding their further cooperation with the Department of History of Ukraine and methods of teaching history were formed.
