On August 18, 2025, the leading specialist of the Institute of History, Ethnology and Archaeology of the Carpathians Bohdan Paska took part in the next meeting of the expert commission on the civic and historical educational branch of the Ukrainian Institute for the Development of Education. The meeting was chaired by Professor of the Department of History of the Ancient World and the Middle Ages of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Doctor of Historical Sciences Vadym Anatoliyovych Rubel. The secretary was the methodologist of the Department of Educational Content of the Ukrainian Institute for the Development of Education, Vsevolod Sergiyenko.
During the meeting, 13 objects of grading were considered, including textbooks and teaching aids on history, civic education, law and integrated courses. Most of the objects of grading were recommended for granting grades of the Ministry of Education of Ukraine. Bohdan Paska presented for the commission’s consideration an expert opinion on the revised object of approval – a teaching aid in the form of the first part of the textbook for the educational course “Civic Education” for grade 7 (authors: O. Ohredko, V. Mayorsky, L. Kolomeyets). The expert’s opinion was supported and approved by the expert commission. The commission proposed that the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine provide the corresponding teaching aid with the approval “Approved for use in the educational process”.
