Thanks to the joint efforts of the university community, modern electronic warfare is already on the front lines

Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University continues to support Ukrainian soldiers in the fight against the enemy. This time – thanks to the unity of the university community – we managed to purchase a modern electronic warfare (EW) complex for our graduate, a soldier of the 102nd Separate Brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Andriy Shchurovsky. The EW has already been transferred to a combat position – it is actively used to detect and suppress enemy drones, cover evacuation and save the lives of our defenders.

The University’s Student Senate through a number of initiatives organized the fundraising, including a charity fair held on the 85th anniversary of the university and other events.

Students of all faculties, university employees and caring residents of Ivano-Frankivsk joined the collection. 221,994 hryvnias were collected, for which the EW and the necessary components were purchased.

“Supporting our heroes is our duty. “Electronic warfare is just one of many areas of struggle. Together we are not just a rear. We are a front of opportunities,” said the representatives of the Student Senate. The University sincerely thanks everyone who joined the initiative.

Let us keep working – until Victory!
