Synergy of teaching experience and student maximalism in the research work of the department

In the professional scientific collection “Current Issues of the Humanities” (2025, issue 85, vol. 2), published by the Ivan Franko Drohobych State Pedagogical University, a joint scientific article by the leading specialist of the Institute of History, Ethnology and Archaeology of the Carpathians Bohdan Paska and students of the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations – Liliya Basista, a 1st-year student of the specialty 014 Secondary Education (History and Civic Education) of the Master’s degree program, and Natalia Shepitak, a 4th-year student of the specialty 014 Secondary Education (History) of the Bachelor’s degree program, entitled “The General Pogrom of the Lviv Dissident Cell (1972–1973)” has been published.

The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the repressive measures taken by the State Security Committee against members of the Lviv dissident community in the early 1970s.

This publication is an exemplary example of the integration of teaching experience and scientific leadership with the scientific and research activities of student youth. It testifies to the high level of academic interaction between the undergraduate and graduate levels of education, which ensures the formation of stable scientific traditions and contributes to the development of historical science in the modern Ukrainian university environment.
