During the Academic Council, scientists of the Carpathian Institute were awarded awards on the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the university

Today, the next meeting of the Academic Council was held at the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian (Carpathian) National University.

Acting Rector, Professor Igor Tsependa began the meeting with a minute of silence – to honor the memory of those who died in battles with the Russian aggressor.

After that, a solemn ceremony was held to award university employees for many years of conscientious work, high professionalism, and organizational activity, personal contribution to the development of the higher education institution and on the 85th anniversary of the university.

The medal “For Merit to the University” was awarded to:

Bohdan Petrovych Tomenchuk – Professor of the Department of Ethnology and Archaeology of the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations, Leading Specialist of the Institute of History, Ethnology and Archaeology of the Carpathians.

Gratitude was declared:

Paska Bohdan Valeriyovych – Associate Professor of the Department of History of Ukraine and Methods of Teaching History of the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations, Leading Specialist of the Institute of History, Ethnology and Archaeology of the Carpathians.

During the meeting, a number of issues were also considered in accordance with the agenda. In particular, a report on the Strategy for Promoting Precarpathian National University in World Rankings was made by the Head of the Commission on Science and International Cooperation, Associate Professor Tetyana Tatarchuk, who presented analytical data on the publication activity of the scientific and pedagogical staff.
