Today, the grand opening of the new student space Campus took place in the fifth dormitory of the Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University – a comfortable environment for learning, communication and creative activity. The space was created to support student initiatives and the development of informal education.
The student trade union committee of the university and the Ivano-Frankivsk regional organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society participated in the implementation of the project, which provided the necessary resources and organizational support. Thanks to this, it was possible to create a modern multifunctional location that will become an important element of student life.
Acting rector of the university Ihor Tsependa addressed the audience with an introductory speech: “Your ideas, initiatives and active participation in the life of the university are extremely valuable. We strive to create conditions in which every student can develop. Campus is not just a place to study; it is a space for the realization of your talents, exchange of ideas, teamwork and new achievements. Thanks to the student trade union committee, which actively generates ideas, we will move forward. Here you will not only be able to communicate, but also join grant projects that will contribute to your personal and professional growth.
The head of the student trade union committee of Carpathian University, Nazariy Dyuk, emphasized the importance of creating such a space: “I hope that Campus will become a center of active student life – a place where ideas are born, initiatives are implemented, where everyone can find themselves and their business.”
“For our part, we are ready to conduct courses in first aid, massage, and patient care. I am glad that university students will be able to gain practical skills in this space, developing in different directions,” emphasized Valeriy Starchenko, head of the Ivano-Frankivsk regional organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society.
The head of the Ivano-Frankivsk city organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross, Vasyl Pushkar, familiarized those present with the organization’s areas of activity, in particular, volunteering opportunities for students, participation in joint social initiatives, and plans for conducting educational events based on the new Campus space.
At the end, Acting Rector Ihor Tsependa signed a cooperation agreement with the head of the Ivano-Frankivsk regional organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society Valeriy Starchenko in order to strengthen multifaceted ties in the field of organizing and ensuring the educational process, conducting internships, student employment, exchange of experience, innovative technologies, etc.
