On April 10, 2025, a career orientation meeting (in online format) was held between the teachers of the Department of History of Ukraine and Methods of Teaching History of the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations of the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University with students of the 11th grades of the Spas Lyceum of the Spas Territorial Community of the Kalush District.
The Dean of the Faculty, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Igor Fedorovych Hurak, greeted the future potential applicants. The Head of the Department, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Igor Yaroslavovych Raykivskyi and the teachers, during the presentation of the university, faculty and specialty “Secondary Education (History)”, showed the attractiveness of studying in the most rated higher educational institution of our region, in particular the importance of history for the development of society and the Ukrainian nation, the place and role of teaching in this. During the meaningful meeting, a former graduate and history teacher of the school, now the lyceum in the village of Spas, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of the Department Igor Vasilyevich Pylypiv.
