On March 13, 2025, an exhibition of works by the outstanding Ukrainian artist and dissident movement member Opanas Zalyvakha (1925–2007) opened in Ivano-Frankivsk. Some of the works will be seen for the first time, as they are from private collections, – said the city mayor Ruslan Marcinkiv. The exhibition was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the artist’s birth.

I thank his family and everyone who helped make this exhibition possible. It is very important to preserve the artist’s works for our descendants,” – emphasized the city mayor.
