Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University continues purposeful meetings with secondary education students of Ivano-Frankivsk region. So, on March 20, an online career orientation meeting was held with secondary education graduates of the Yezupil and Poberez Lyceums of the Yezupil Settlement Council. The Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations initiated the meeting as part of the “Career University for Students” project.
Eduard Lapkovskyi, vice-rector of the University, addressed the students. He presented the latest achievements of the University, its high-ranking places among higher education institutions of Ukraine to future applicants. The students learned about the available specialties and educational programs offered by the higher education institution for obtaining the qualifying educational level of “bachelor” and “master”, the possibility of simultaneously obtaining an education in European universities, studying on a double diploma program. The vice-rector paid special attention to the features of the 2024 admissions campaign and the University’s communication with future applicants.
In continuation of the speech of the vice-rector of the University Eduard Lapkovskyi, the responsible secretary of the admissions committee of the Faculty, a specialist of the Institute of History, Ethnology and Archeology of the Carpathians, Roman Kobylnyk spoke about the glorious history of the faculty, its traditions, a powerful teaching staff, international student academic mobility, the ability to realize their ideas and opportunities and invited him to get a higher education in the specialties of the Faculty.
Students were particularly interested in the performance of Maryana Perepichka, a 4th-year student majoring in “Secondary Education (History)” at the BA “Bachelor” (full-time education). She shared her positive impressions from studying, the wonderful atmosphere that prevails among students at the Faculty, the presence of various events, competitions, and participation in student self-government. The student shared her impressions of the pedagogical practice that she is currently undergoing. She recommended that graduates enroll in the “Secondary Education (History and Civic Education)” specialty, as well as other educational programs of the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations.
Halyna Voloshchuk, assistant professor of the Department of Philology of the Kolomyia Educational and Scientific Institute of the University, also addressed the students, who thanked them for participating in the “Ancient Halych” quiz game and emphasized the importance of choosing a quality education for the modern youth of Ukraine. Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University is focused on a high-quality European approach.
