Dear teachers, students, graduate students and employees of the university!
Today we celebrate one of the most important holidays for our country – the Constitution Day of Ukraine. This holiday is a symbol of our independence, freedom and democratic development. The Constitution of Ukraine, adopted on June 28, 1996, became the foundation of our statehood and legal system, enshrining the basic rights and freedoms of citizens, defining the structure and powers of authorities.
It is especially important now to emphasize the historical value of the Constitution. It not only laid the foundations of the rule of law, but also became a guarantee of our rights and freedoms. The Constitution unites all of us in striving for a democratic, independent and just Ukraine. Our heroes – soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who continue to defend the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our state on the front lines, today, protect these values.
In modern conditions of war, the role of the Constitution of Ukraine becomes even more significant. A legal shield protects our rights even in the most difficult times. The Constitution provides stability, law, and order, helps us maintain unity and guides our struggle for justice and peace. It is the basis for the international support we receive and helps to show the world that Ukraine is a legal state that is true to its democratic principles.
Thanks to the Constitution, we have a solid foundation to meet today’s challenges. Despite all the difficulties, we remain united, strong and determined in our struggle. Each of us, from a small child to an adult, contributes to the future of our country. In addition, the Constitution unites us in this aspiration.
Let our faith in truth and justice inspire us to new victories. Glory to Ukraine!
