On November 22, 2024, teachers of the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations held a career orientation meeting with 11th grade students of Lyceum No. 7 of the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council. Leading specialist of the Institute of History, Ethnology and Archaeology of the Carpathians Bohdan Paska, teachers Vasyl Debenko, Olena Berezovska-Chmil and Petro Hawrylyshyn presented the educational programs “Secondary Education (History)”, “History and Archaeology”, “Political Science”, “Political Science. National Security” and “International Relations, Public Communications and Regional Studies”, which will provide an opportunity to obtain a professional specialty of higher education. Lyceum students had the opportunity to learn about the achievements, directions and prospects of development, the conditions for organizing the educational process, and the international activities of the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University.
Future applicants received detailed information about the University, the prestige of obtaining higher education at one of the leading universities of Ukraine, a wide choice of specialties that open up the opportunity for young people to realize their plans in the future. The teachers paid considerable attention to the professional skills that future students will receive and who they will be able to work with. Potential applicants received useful information about the features of training and further employment opportunities for students and graduates of the Faculty’s specialties.
