The meeting of the one-time specialized academic council for awarding the degree of Doctor of Philosophy to the graduate of postgraduate studies Maria Vasylivna Sankovych on December 4, 2024, approved by the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University as a five-person body, was attended by three teachers of the Department of History of Ukraine and Methods of Teaching History: as the chairman of the council – Professor Ihor Yaroslavovych Raykivskyi, as reviewers of the dissertation – Associate Professor Oleh Igorovich Yegreshiy and Associate Professor, Leading Specialist of the Institute of History, Ethnology and Archaeology of the Carpathians Bohdan Valeriyovych Paska. The topic of the dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the specialty 032 “History and Archaeology”: “Socio-economic processes in the Stanislav (Ivano-Frankivsk) region in 1944–1965” (scientific supervisor – Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of the Department of World History Borchuk Stepan Mykolayovych).
The scientific opponents of the dissertation were: Vasyl Ivanovich Ilnytskyi – Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of History of Ukraine and Law of the Ivan Franko Drohobych State Pedagogical University; Oleh Mykhailovych Malyarchuk – Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, Professor of the Department of Social Sciences of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas.
