This year, once again, students, graduates and teachers of the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University became Saint Nicholas’ helpers. Through their joint efforts, they raised UAH 72,606, which was used to purchase gifts for orphans from the town of Saint Nicholas and children with musculoskeletal disorders at the Educational and Rehabilitation Center in Ivano-Frankivsk (Khotkevycha 52 a).
The initiative has been going on since 2002 and is an example of how human kindness and the desire to help can change the world for the better. After all, God does all the miracles on earth with the hands of people. The participants of the Faculty’s amateur art activities gave children an unforgettable Christmas adventure. The performance “Battle of Fairytale Bloggers” immersed the young audience in a magical world where good always overcomes the forces of darkness. For an hour, the heroes of the performance introduced children to important values - friendship, honesty, mutual assistance. Cheerful scenes, bright costumes and interactive moments created the atmosphere of a real fairy tale, filled with joy and laughter. The permanent organizer and scriptwriter of the event is Tamara Halytska-Didukh, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations.
Children’s sincere smiles and shining eyes are the best evidence of important of giving warmth and care to those who need it.
