On March 12, 2025, a solemn award ceremony was held for the laureates of the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council Prize and the Mayor’s Scholarship for gifted students of higher education institutions of the city of Ivano-Frankivsk. Among the graduates of the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations of the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, the following were distinguished: Anna Babiy (3rd year, Bachelor’s degree, International Economic Relations); Vitalia Kurylo (4th year, Bachelor’s degree, Political Science. National Security); Sofia Markevych (4th year, Bachelor’s degree, History and Archaeology); Maryana Perepichka (1st year, Master’s degree, History and Archaeology. Ethnology); Natalia Yakubiv (4th year, Bachelor’s degree, Secondary Education (History); Oleksandr Bayurak (1st year, Bachelor’s degree, International Relations, Public Communications and Regional Studies).
The ceremonial ceremony of awarding certificates to talented students of Frankivsk higher education institutions took place at the Catholic Lyceum of St. Basil the Great. The event became a vivid testimony of the high level of academic preparation, active civic position and social responsibility of the student youth of the Ivano-Frankivsk city territorial community.
The selection of scholarship holders was carried out according to such criteria as academic success, social activity outside the educational institution, implementation of their own projects and events, volunteer work, popularization of environmental awareness, healthy lifestyle and sports, achievements in sports competitions of various levels, scientific activity, participation in conferences, publication of scientific articles, as well as promotion of the popularization of science among young people.
