Career guidance meeting with high school students of the Yezupil territorial community

On March 20, 2025, teachers of the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations held an interesting career guidance meeting with students of grades 10–11 of the Yezupil and Poberezhia lyceums of the Yezupil territorial community. The meeting took place in the assembly hall of the Yezupil lyceum of the Yezupil settlement council. Teachers Bohdan Paska (leading specialist of the Institute of History, Ethnology and Archaeology of the Carpathians, responsible for the faculty for conducting career guidance work), Olena Berezovska-Chmil (associate professor of the Department of Political Science), Iryna Sernyak (associate professor of the Department of International Economic Relations) and Roman Kobylnyk (senior lecturer of the Department of History of Central and Eastern Europe and special branches of historical science) presented the educational programs “Secondary Education (History and Civic Education)”, “Political Science”, “Political Science. National Security”, “International Relations, Public Communications and Regional Studies”, “International Economic Relations”, “International Business Management” and “History and Archaeology”, which will provide an opportunity to obtain a professional specialty of higher education.

Students had the opportunity to learn about the achievements, directions and prospects of development, the conditions for organizing the educational process, and the international activities of the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. Roman Kobylnyk additionally explained to the students of the Lyceum the features of the 2025 admission campaign, urged young people to register for the NMT and submit documents to the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. Potential applicants received useful information about the features of training and further employment opportunities for students and graduates of the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations. During conversations with university teachers, 11th grade students expressed their interest in further connecting their lives with the University. The associate professor of the Department of History of Ukraine and Methods of Teaching History Stepan Kobuta provided transport for the Faculty staff to the village of Yezupil.

The local leadership of Yezupil territorial community actively supported the career guidance event. The head of the community Ihor Lukashevych and the director of Yezupil lyceum Mykhailo Trushyk spoke to the students, emphasizing the high level of professional training at the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University.
