Today, a meeting of the Academic Council and a conference of the working group were held at the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, during which a number of important issues were considered.
At the beginning, the solemn moment was the presentation of the diploma of Doctor of Sciences to Associate Professor of the Department of Therapy, Rehabilitation and Morphology Mykola Stovban. The acting rector of the PNU, Professor Ihor Tsependa, presented the honorary distinction. Mykola Stovban received the scientific degree of Doctor of Sciences in the field of public administration, which is a significant achievement in his professional activities and a significant contribution to the development of science.
We sincerely congratulate Mykola Stovban on this significant event! We wish him further scientific achievements, inspiration in research work and new professional successes!
In addition to the solemn part, a number of issues were considered during the meeting of the Academic Council in accordance with the agenda. In particular, the acting rector Ihor Tsependa reported on the approval of the Statute of the Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University, which is an important stage in the new strategic development of the institution.
The new version of the Statute was adopted together with the changes proposed by the new Supervisory Board of the university in order to implement the government experiment on the development of university autonomy. In addition, from now on, the new name is fixed in the Statute – Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University.
The Acting Rector also showed the staff the new logo of the Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University, the author of which is our 2nd year student of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Arts, majoring in “Graphic Design” Olga Kovaliv.
