From April 23 to 26, the team of Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University took part in the first module of the Academic Managers Professional Development Program: “The Role of the University in the Context of Social Transformations”.
This program is implemented within the framework of a project of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the British Council in Ukraine and is aimed at improving the managerial competencies of representatives of higher education institutions.
The program consists of four modules, each of which is designed to deepen knowledge and develop skills in effective academic management in accordance with modern international standards.
A powerful team of department heads was formed to participate in the Program, united around a common goal – improving management practices and improving the quality of education: Yakubiv Valentyna – First Vice-Rector, Hurak Ihor – Dean of the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations, P’yatnychuk Iryna – Dean of the Faculty of Management, Shkromyda Vitaliy – Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Belova Nataliya – Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Korniyenko Tetyana – Rector’s Commissioner for Digitalization, Head of the Document Management and Office Management Department, Hrynyshak Tetyana – Head of the Educational and Scientific Center for Research, Projects and Scientific Information.
The participants of the first module got acquainted with European and national trends in the development of higher education; the values of social responsibility and the social mission of the university; assessed the impact of the university on the development of society / region / community; determined the uniqueness of the university and reflected it in the university profile; effectively communicated with colleagues to develop and present the university profile.
We believe that participation in this program will contribute to even greater efficiency of our university’s activities and strengthening its position among the leading educational institutions of Ukraine.
