On April 28, 2025, Oleh Igorovich Yegreshiy, Associate Professor of the Department of History of Ukraine and Methods of Teaching History of the Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University, took part in the presentation of the monograph “Blessed Hieromartyr Nicholas Charnetskyi (1884–1959): A Historical Portrait”, the authors of which are Vasyl Melnychuk and Sister Andrey Masliy. The presentation took place in the village of Semakivtsi, Horodenkiv City Council, Kolomyia District. His Eminence Bishop Volodymyr Viytyshyn, Archbishop and Metropolitan of Ivano-Frankivsk, and His Eminence Bishop Petro Goliney, Auxiliary Bishop of Kolomyia, took part in the presentation event.
The presentation of the book began with a joint Moleben to the Blessed Hieromartyr Nicholas, which was attended by bishops, clergy, government representatives, scientists, journalists and caring villagers. The vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work of the Ivano-Frankivsk Academy of John Chrysostom, Oleg Bilous, moderated the event. The following spoke at the presentation: the chairman of the Horodenkivsk City Council, Bohdan Kobylyansky, the director of the Semakivtsi Gymnasium of the Horodenkivsk City Council, Larysa Ravlyuk, the associate professor of the Department of History of Ukraine and Methods of Teaching History, Oleg Yehreshiy, the head of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines of the Ivano-Frankivsk Academy of John Chrysostom, Ruslan Delyatynsky.
In conclusion, Fr. Vasyl Skrypka, protopresbyter Chernelytsky and rector of the Respite Center of Blessed Nicholas Charnetsky in the village of Semakivtsi, expressed sincere gratitude to: Metropolitan Volodymyr Viityshyn, Bishop Petro Goliney, researchers, clergy, authorities, scientists and all those present.
