On May 1, 2025, the leading specialist of the Institute of History, Ethnology and Archaeology of the Carpathians Bohdan Paska took part in the meeting No. 7 of the expert commission on the civic and historical educational branch of the Ukrainian Institute for the Development of Education. The meeting was chaired by Professor of the Department of History of the Ancient World and the Middle Ages of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Doctor of Historical Sciences Vadym Anatoliyovych Rubel. The secretary was the methodologist of the Department of Educational Content of the Ukrainian Institute for the Development of Education, Vsevolod Sergiyenko.
During the meeting, eight objects of endorsement were considered – two model curricula “Jurisprudence” (grade 9), an atlas and contour maps of world history for grade 10, an atlas and contour maps of the integrated course “World History. History of Ukraine” for grade 7, the curriculum for the elective course “Khmelnytsky Studies” for grade 8, as well as a textbook for the course “History and Social Sciences” for grade 7. Because of the discussion and voting of the expert commission members, five objects of grading were sent for revision, and the third was recommended to be given the grade “Approved for use in the educational process”.
