On May 7, 2025, teachers of the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations held two online career guidance meetings with high school students of the Rivne Lyceum of the Rozhnyativ Village Council and the Lypovytsky Lyceum of the Spassky Village Council of the Kalush district of the Ivano-Frankivsk region. Professor of the Department of History of Ukraine and Methods of Teaching History Ihor Pylypiv organized the meetings. Dean of the Faculty Ihor Hurak made an introductory speech to the applicants, briefly presenting the key achievements and advantages of studying at the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. Bohdan Paska, responsible for career guidance work at the faculty, moderated the meetings.
Teachers Andriy Korolko, Ihor Raykivskyi, Roman Kobylnyk, Olena Berezovska-Chmil, Petro Havrylyshyn, Iryna Sernyak presented the educational programs “Secondary Education (History and Civics)”, “History and Archaeology”, “Political Science”, “International Relations, Public Communications and Regional Studies”, “International Economic Relations” and “International Business Management”, which will provide an opportunity to obtain a professional specialty of higher education. Lyceum students had the opportunity to learn about the achievements, directions and prospects of development, the conditions for organizing the educational process, and the international activities of the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. Future applicants received detailed information about the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, the prestige of obtaining higher education at one of the leading universities of Ukraine, a wide range of specialties of the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations, which open up the opportunity for young people to realize their plans in the future. The teachers paid considerable attention to the professional skills that future students will receive and who they will be able to work with. Potential applicants received useful information about the features of training and further employment opportunities for students and graduates of the faculty’s specialties. At the end, high school students from the villages of Rivne and Lypovytsya were invited to the Open Day of the PNU, which will be held on May 14.
