The summer of 2025 is coming to an end and with it the multipart journey to the sports and recreation camp “Smerichka” has ended, which united future students of the Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University from all over Ukraine.
These were three special changes, filled with activities, communication, acquaintances and university spirit.
The management of the Carpathian University expresses sincere gratitude for the cooperation and creation of an unforgettable atmosphere:
to the director of the camp, Soya Mykola Mykhailovych;
to the deputy director Petr Mykhailovych Kostyuk;
the kitchen team – Halyna Stepanivna Sabat, Lyubov Zhukova, Ivan and Oksana Hutsuliak, Ivan Manzyuk;
to the team of educators;
to the public organization “E Plus”;
to the government of the Czech Republic, which financed the vacation of a large group of children in “Smerichka”;
to the club “Hurricane” (Kyiv).
Special thanks to Halyna Voloshchuk, Director of the Career Center, who became the main driver of the success of Carpathian University in “Smerichka” and united the efforts of all participants to implement this large-scale initiative.
The final series of this “season” in “Smerichka” struck a special chord. Future students are acquainted with the faculties and teachers of the university:
Dean Iryna Pʼyatnychuk, Head of the Department of Management and Business Administration Antonina Tomashevska and Assistant Oleh Kotsiubynskyi, presented the Faculty of Management.
The Faculty of Physics and Engineering organized an exciting cryotechnical show and a demonstration of physical experiments with nitrogen and other substances.
The children saw impressive effects and were convinced: physics can be not only useful, but also incredibly interesting! The head of the Department of Applied Physics and Materials Science Volodymyr Kotsiubynskyi, professor of the department Volodymyr Boychuk and doctoral student Andriy Kotsiubynskyi shared their knowledge and experiments.
The university management also thanks all the faculties, institutes and departments that joined this summer vacation in the style of #StefanykProWay.
Together we made “Smerichka” a place where friendship, memories and true university spirit are born.
Moreover, most importantly – this is not the end yet! Carpathian University is already preparing the second season of this unforgettable series, the premiere of which will take place in June 2026.
