Bohdan Valeriiovych Paska – PhD in History, a leading specialist of the Educational and Scientific Institute of History, Ethnology and Archeology of the Carpathians.
He was born on December 27, 1992 in the village of Sadzhavka, Nadvirna district, Ivano-Frankivsk region. During 2006–2009, he was a four-time winner of the final stage of the All-Ukrainian School Olympiad in History. He received his general secondary education at a school in the village of Sadzhavka. In 2009–2014 he was a student of the Institute of History, Political Science and International Relations of the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University (Ivano-Frankivsk), a multiple winner of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiads in History. In 2014 he received the award of the University “The Best Student of the Year” and a master’s degree in history. In June 2017, he defended his dissertation “Socio-political and scientific activities of Valentyn Moroz.” Since September 2017 – a leading specialist of the Educational and Scientific Institute of History, Ethnology and Archeology of the Carpathians. Since October 2018 – Assistant Professor of the Department of History of Ukraine and Methods of Teaching History. Member of the Ivano-Frankivsk regional organization of the National Union of Local Historians of Ukraine. Author of more than 30 scientific and educational works and more than 300 encyclopedic articles.
Research interests: Ukrainian national movement of the second half of the 20th century.
