Career orientation meeting with students of Lyceum No. 10 of the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council

On February 22, 2024, the specialist of the first category of the Institute of History, Ethnology and Archeology of the Carpathians, Roman Kobylnyk, together with his teaching colleagues of the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations, met with the students of the 11th grades of Lyceum No. 10 of the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council as part of career guidance. Future entrants received detailed information about specialties and bachelor’s level educational programs presented at the Faculty and priority opportunities for the implementation of plans for the future, which they will receive after entering the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University.

Roman Kobylnyk, who is responsible for career guidance work at the Faculty, introduced the students to the features of the 2024 admissions campaign, highlighting a number of possible innovations this year, and characterized the specialty 032 History and Archeology, emphasizing its importance in the modern realities of the Russian-Ukrainian war.

Docent Oleg Yehreshiy focused attention on the educational program of the specialty 014 Secondary Education (History) of the BA “Bachelor”. Potential entrants received useful information about the study features and further employment opportunities for students and graduates of the specialty 014 Secondary Education (History), which are implemented by the teams of the Faculty’s departments. The teacher emphasized that the basis for admission to the specialty of the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations, in particular to the specialty 014 Secondary Education (History) of the “Bachelor” OR “Bachelor”, is a complete secondary education.
