On April 8, 2023, a meeting with schoolchildren of general secondary education institutions was held at the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations during the Applicant’s Day using the Zoom video conference. It was attended by 36 graduates of schools in Ivano-Frankivsk and neighboring regions of the Western Ukrainian region.
Dean Mykola Vasyliovych Kugutyak, who in his speech introduced the structure of the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations, greeted high school students. Mykola Vasyliovych emphasized the fact that the structural unit is an important scientific and educational center of the University, which focuses on domestic and international standards of education.
Responsible secretary of the selection committee of the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations, associate professor of the Department of History of Ukraine and methods of teaching history Andriy Mishchuk familiarized those present with the advantages of studying at the Faculty and talked about the specifics and conditions of this year’s admission. Potential entrants received useful information about the peculiarities of study and the possibilities of further employment of students and graduates of educational programs, which are implemented by the teams of departments of the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations.
About the educational programs of the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations: Secondary Education (History), History and Archeology, Political Science, Political Science. National security, international relations, international economic relations, management of international business were told by heads of departments and guarantors of educational programs Ihor Raykivskyi, Andriy Korolko, Volodymyr Komar, Vasyl Klymonchuk, Ihor Gurak, Liliya Mykhailyshyn, Oksana Kogut-Ferenc, Serhiy Vasylchenko. At the end of the meeting, the responsible secretary of the selection committee of the Faculty Andriy Mishchuk and the heads of departments and guarantors of educational programs answered a number of questions of applicants regarding the conditions of admission, the educational process, payment for education, further employment, etc.
