Mykola Kuhutyak – laureate of the Vasyl Stefanyk academic award in the nomination “Best monograph”

On June 6, at the Academic Council of the University, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, Dean of the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations, Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of History, Ethnology and Archeology of the Carpathians, Mykola Vasyliovych Kuhutyak received the Vasyl Stefanyk Academic Award in the nomination “Best Monograph” for tireless work in the field of historical science. The purpose of the award is to recognize significant achievements and significant merits of scientists of the University. The result of his fruitful work was the publication of a comprehensive encyclopedic publication dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the proclamation of the National People’s Republic of Ukraine – “Western Ukrainian People’s Republic 1918–1923. Encyclopedia” (in four volumes). The publication was previously the winner of the “Book of the Year 2021” contest in the “Past” nomination. Popular editions / historical journalism”.
