On September 21, 2023, a meeting of the Academic Council of the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations was held, in which employees of the Institute of History, Ethnology and Archeology of the Carpathians took part. On the agenda was the report of the dean of the Faculty, director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of History, Ethnology and Archeology of the Carpathians, prof. M.V. Kuhutyak “About the activities of the staff of the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations for the period of the 2022-2023 academic year and tasks for the new 2023-2024 academic year.”
At the beginning of his speech, Mykola Vasyliovych drew attention to the serious challenges faced by the staff of the Faculty in the previous 2022-2023 academic year, the year associated with the full-scale Russian-Ukrainian war. Dean of the Faculty prof. M.V. Kuhutyak with the help of a visualized presentation, familiarized all those present with the results of the admission of applicants to the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations at the Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. Prof. M.V. Kugutyak thanked all the employees of the selection committee of the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations for their dedicated work. The dean of the faculty noted that career guidance work in the conditions of a full-scale Russian-Ukrainian war should not stop there, the latest forms of methodical advertising and information campaign and communication work should be used to attract the attention of applicants for admission to the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations.
In the second part of his report, the dean of the Faculty focused on such aspects related to the work of the teaching staff and students in the previous 2022-2023 academic year. year: accreditation of educational programs of the Faculty’s specialties; results of student contests, awards, projects; the results of the student summer assessment and examination session and new challenges in the educational process in the conditions of war; achievements and achievements of the faculty team in scientific activity.
