The IV stage of the XXV All-Ukrainian Student History Olympiad took place remotely on the educational platform “HUMAN School” using the Google Meet video conferencing system for three days. 116 students of grades 8-11 from different parts of Ukraine took part in the competition, including 26 eighth-graders, 31 participants from 9th and 10th grades, and 28 eleventh-graders.
The results of intellectual competitions were determined by a competent jury, which included almost 40 scientists and teachers from all over Ukraine, of which 12 were representatives from the Rivne region. Thus, the deputy chairman of the jury was an associate professor of the Department of History of Ukraine and methods of teaching history of PNU Andriy Korolko, who oversaw the review by members of the jury of the tasks of the theoretical tour of students of grades 10-11. In turn, the leading specialist of the Institute of History, Ethnology and Archeology of the Carpathians Bohdan Paska checked the tasks of the theoretical tour of the 9th grade students. The winners of the Olympiad were half of the participants who, according to the rating, took I, II and III places. The analysis of the verified works showed a high level of preparation of the majority of students in grades 8–11.
In addition, on the first day, a walking tour of the city of Rivne was organized for the members of the jury, and on the next day, a trip to the city of Dubno, where a tour of the Dubno Castle and the Dubno Gymnasium “Wisdom” was held.
