On May 10, the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations held a charity “Spring Festival” with the aim of collecting funds for students of the faculty who are in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At the festivals, you could familiarize yourself with the traditional clothes, food, and embroidery of the historical and ethnographic regions of Ivano-Frankivsk region: Pokuttya, Opillya, Hutsul region, Boykiv region. Students organized an exhibition of old photos, jewelry, towels, shirts, hats, sale of food and sweets, and a photo booth. Tetiana and Omelyan Antonovych’s Dolyna local history museum «Boikivshchyna» presented Boykiv traditional women’s costume.
People’s amateur vocal ensemble “Corals” led by Halyna Martynenko, whose member is Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of International Economic Relations Liliya Ivanivna Mykhailyshyn, performed songs, including “Give, God, strength to our soldiers”. Students Anastasiya Barylyak, Liliya Dyakun, Inesa Zytynyuk, Khrystyna Andriyashko sang haivkas, kolomyikas, Yana Kalynchuk recited the author’s poem about the village Mykulychyn.
The blue and yellow angels made at the master class will become guardians for the faculty defenders at the front. Thank you to all the guests and participants for participating in the “Spring Festivals”. During the event, UAH 24,571 was collected, which will be used to help our students on the front lines.
